Kaspersky Lab Relocates Data Processing to Switzerland

Posted on

There has been a lot of buzz about Kaspersky in the last several years with concerns about their security.

Though Kaspersky currently utilizes the highest industry standards in their data protection practices they are constantly improving procedures to ensure their customers’ data.

With this continual effort to improve security Kaspersky has made the decision to open a data center in Switzerland. This relocation has already begun and will be completed next year.

“Kaspersky Lab is adapting to the needs of an ultra-connected world. A world in which people and organizations require greater transparency and trust. Starting from 2018, we are redesigning our infrastructure and moving the location for where we store and process some of our data, and build new software: the stuff that keeps our customers the world over safe from existing, new and emerging threats.”

NTS continues to research, analyze and support leading internet securityvendors and services, and we want to reassure our clients that we stay up-to-date with our vendors and the latest in tech news to provide you with the best and safest resources available.

Why Switzerland?

Switzerland has a long and famous history of neutrality and a robust approach to data protection legislation.
